6. Riverside Drive.

Sure there could be other way to go to your destination (the National Museum), but t wouldn't be worthwhile if you take the road in the riverside drive where you can see the boats and feel of the Pasig River -- again another historical icon of the Philippines dating from the Spanish booming economical times.

7. Plaza Mexico . 

We could see big figures of medal and status in this place that is instagram worthy.

"Plaza de Mexico, also known simply as Plaza Mexico, is a historic riverside square in Manila, Philippines, located at the west end of Magallanes Drive and Riverside Drive in Intramuros bordering the Pasig River in the north. It is surrounded by the Aduana Building on the south, the Bureau of Immigration Building on the east and the ruins of the Bastión de Maestranza and Puerta de Almacenes on the west."

8. Aduana & Intramuros.

"The Aduana Building, also known as the Intendencia, was a Spanish colonial structure in Manila, Philippines that housed several government offices through the years. It is located in front of the BPI Intramuros (formerly the site of the old Santo Domingo Church) at Plaza España, Soriano (Aduana) Ave. corner Muralla St. in Intramuros."

9. Manila City Hall.

"The Manila City Hall (Filipino: Gusaling Panlungsod ng Maynila) is located in the historic center of Ermita, Manila. It is where the Mayor of Manila holds office and the chambers of the Manila City Council.[2] It was originally intended to be a part of a national government center envisioned by Daniel Burnham in the 1930s. Although the dream plan was not fully implemented, some buildings for the proposed government center was constructed, including the Old Legislative Building (now the National Museum of Fine Arts), and the Agriculture and Finance Buildings (presently the National Museum of Anthropology and National Museum of Natural History)."

This is famous for its coffin shape structure and some "ghost stories" but for me, i love the big clock feel of this building. Basically London-ish.

10. National Museum. 

"The National Museum of the Philippines (Filipino: Pambansang Museo ng Pilipinas) is a government institution in the Philippines and serves as an educational, scientific and cultural institution in preserving the various permanent national collections featuring the ethnographic, anthropological, archaeological and visual artistry of the Philippines. Since 1998, the National Museum has been the regulatory and enforcement agency of the National Government in the restoring and safeguarding of important cultural properties, sites and reservations throughout the Philippines."

Wouldn't it be nice to arrive in your destination and your way there was filled with great adventures.

I've been dreaming to see the famous old senate of the Philippines which was housed also in now the National Museum of the Philippines! So much history and love for the place and heritage.
